History
| The founder and owner of Dog Lovers Gold pet food products is Peter Goumare from the Netherlands. Peter has been a dog lover and owner of many different breeds of dogs ever since he was a teenager. |

Through his special interest in the breeding and raising of working breeds and his affection for all dogs.
Peter traveled around the world to meet with and learn from internationally renowned dog breeders.
He discovered that the key to these breeders success was partly due to a holistic approach when
feeding their dogs. Besides daily exercise they all used a wholesome diet that was well-balanced and
based on overall health improving nutrients.
Being disappointed in the quality of the main commercial dry pet foods available on the market Peter
decided to use his nutritional knowledge and create a Super Premium formula that would be truly
beneficial to all dogs and dog owners around the world at an affordable cost.
Peter developed Dog Lovers Gold,
a recipe that contains different animal-proteins for a well-balanced
amino acid profile and a wide selection of hypoallergenic and gluten-free ingredients.

When Peter introduced Dog Lovers Gold in the USA he was joined in his endeavour by two other great

Philosophy
Most dogs and cats thrive well on whole raw feed diets, a great way to feed your pet but not everyone has the time or the knowledge to prepare a well balanced raw feed diet or can afford the high prices these food products usually costs. We are dedicated to produce healthy food for pets at a reasonable price for all dog and cat lovers. We have created a product that promotes good health, longevity and wellbeing. Our formula is developed to meet the nutritional requirement of our pets for a healthier and happier life by utilizing only the highest level of quality ingredients that would really benefit our companions and surpass many pet owner's expectations.
Because a healthy life begins with healthy nutrition we balanced the proportions of protein, fat, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals for optimum levels for All Life Stages. Our formula contains different proteins;
Lamb, Chicken, Fish, Whole Eggs and Chicken Livers. While most other dry foods have a excessive high carbohydrates level from corn, wheat or diversified grain sources our only carbohydrates come from nutritious Brown Rice. We DO NOT use any corn, wheat or soy in our formula because many expert animal-nutritionists consider these ingredients to be the most responsible for allergies, skin problems and bowel disorders. Dog Lovers Gold and Cat Lovers Gold are all naturally preserved.
