Grit & Steel uses 2 different types of material: Ultra-Grit and Nypro. Both types are made to withstand extreme weather conditions, chemicals, tears, abrasion and punctures. They do not absorb dirt, mud or water and do not allow the growth of bacteria, mildew or mold. The material does not dry out and does not fray. The 304 steel used is stainless and the industrial belt of the Ultra-Grit series has a Thermoplastic PolyUrethane (TPU) coating to improve properties such as durability, flexibility and tensile strength. It feels soft, but is at the same time extremely durable and strong. It is very wear-resistant.
These collars and leashes will last for many years with normal use!
